Terms of Service

Welcome to Qazaro. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Qazaro mobile app and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Qazaro. By using the Service you confirm you meet this minimum age. Some features or contests may have additional age or region requirements.

2. Your Account

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You're responsible for everything that happens on your account.
• One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate ratings, matchmaking, or rewards is prohibited.
• You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable Use

When you use Qazaro, you agree NOT to:

• Cheat, use bots, scripts, or any automated tools to play matches or earn rewards.
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities to gain unfair advantages.
• Collude with other players to manipulate match outcomes or ratings.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
• Use usernames, display names, or league names that are offensive, deceptive, or infringe on others' rights.
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service.
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Decisions are at our discretion and we may take action without prior notice when needed to protect the Service or other users.

4. User-Generated Content

Some features (usernames, league names, profile fields, reactions, suggestions you send us) involve content you create. You're responsible for content you submit. We may screen content for inappropriate material and may modify or remove content that violates these Terms.

5. Virtual Items, Coins, and Rewards

Qazaro may include virtual items, in-app coins, cosmetics, and other rewards. These items:

• Have no real-world cash value and cannot be redeemed for money.
• Are licensed to you, not sold, and are non-transferable except as expressly permitted in the app.
• May be added, modified, revalued, or discontinued at any time at our discretion.
• May be revoked if earned through cheating, exploits, chargebacks, or violations of these Terms.
• Are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. If a jurisdiction gives you a mandatory refund right, that right applies only to that jurisdiction and only within the limits the law requires.
• Are forfeited when your account is closed, suspended, or deleted.

6. Advertisements

Qazaro shows optional rewarded advertisements (for example, in the Earn tab and certain in-game reward screens). Ads are served by Google AdMob and other ad partners. By choosing to view an ad you agree that:

• Ad content is served by third parties. We do not select, endorse, or verify the content of any ad and are not responsible for the products, services, claims, links, or landing pages of advertisers.
• Ad measurement may involve advertising identifiers and usage events as described in the Privacy Policy.
• Reward crediting depends on the ad network confirming a completed view. Occasional failures to credit (network errors, disqualified impressions, ad-network fraud checks) are not grounds for compensation.

7. Trivia Content and Accuracy

Quiz questions and answers on Qazaro are drawn from many sources and may be generated or edited with the help of AI. We do our best to keep them correct, but we do not warrant that any specific question, answer, fact, or piece of information is accurate, complete, or up to date. Do not rely on Qazaro for medical, legal, financial, safety, academic, or other consequential decisions. If you spot an error, please report it via the in-app "Report a bug" flow or the Report page.

8. Service Availability

We work hard to keep Qazaro up and running, but the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that: the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; contests will always start, run, or finish on schedule; matchmaking will always find an opponent within any particular time; ratings, scores, or leaderboards will always be calculated without delay; or that data will never be lost. We may update, modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

9. Intellectual Property

The Qazaro name, logo, app, and all original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission. Trivia questions, images, and other third-party materials are the property of their respective owners and are used under fair-use or licence where applicable.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service integrates with third parties (for example Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, Google AdMob, Google Firebase, Apple Push Notifications, Resend, and Expo/EAS) and may link to external sites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, availability, or actions of any third party. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party's own terms and privacy policy.

11. Termination

You can stop using Qazaro at any time and delete your account from the in-app Profile screen or by following the steps on our Delete account page. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, appear to be inactive, appear compromised, or where required by law — with or without prior notice. On termination, your access to virtual items, coins, progress, and rewards may be permanently lost, and the sections of these Terms that by their nature survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, IP, and dispute terms) will remain in effect.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, title, or quiet enjoyment. We do not warrant that: (a) the Service will meet your requirements or expectations; (b) results, ratings, matchmaking, or rewards will be accurate or reliable; (c) errors will be corrected; (d) the Service will be free of viruses or harmful components; or (e) any information you obtain through the Service is accurate.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Qazaro, its owners, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, loss of virtual items or coins, personal injury, or business interruption — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (i) the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (ii) USD $50.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including any statutory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Qazaro and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) content or information you submit; (d) your infringement of the rights of a third party; or (e) your violation of any applicable law.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of Sarajevo shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory local consumer-protection rules give you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, your only remedy is to stop using the Service and delete your account.

17. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them freely. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Qazaro regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject.
